Nuthall, Nottinghamshire – Weather good, sunny most of the day

Last night I watched The Social Network. In case you haven’t seen the film, it’s a biopic about the beginnings of Facebook (Google the film and read its Wikipedia page if you want to know more about it). Following this, I’ve been inspired to “blog” (side note: I wonder why that’s the vernacular – must Google that later…) as this was what Mark Zuckerberg (portrayed by Jesse Eisenberg) was doing when he created FaceMash, the precursor to Facebook; I’ve previously wondered about purchasing and keeping a journal in which to write, but why buy pieces of paper that were made from dead trees when I can write it on a laptop or smartphone made from aluminium & precious metals hewn out of the crust of the earth and manufactured in China by quasi-slaves?

So here I am with the newly purchase domain name of nickw.blog (nick.blog was already taken, before you ask) blogging to my heart’s content. More content to follow.
